About Us

Atavia Abyssinians was created in 1999 in Pomona, California. Owned by David Morgan and Dan Lundy, the cattery was moved to Winchendon, Massachusetts in 2001. Our first breeding queen is a beautiful girl named Kiara. She was our first grand champion and our first distinguished merit with two litters. Since we began we have acquired our breeding cats from many other breeders who have been kind enough to share the results of their own breeding programs with us. We have been very successful with our breedings. Our first regional winning cat came from our second breeding with Kiara. We have achieved the title of Grand Champion in CFA with most of our cats. We also have had the opportunity to breed to a few National Winning cats that have added to our pedigrees. Thanks for visiting, come back soon.
